Given the large multitudes expected at the 5th WMF, many volunteers will be needed to ensure the event is a success.

Volunteers will play a key role in the 5th WMF. They will deal with much of the logistics of the event (information points, assistance to pilgrims, etc.). Aside from that, however, the 5th WMF will be the occasion to bring together a great number of areas of responsibility functioning under the same ideals and values. For the volunteers themselves, it will be an experience which hopefully will shape the rest of their lives.

Our aim is twofold: to ensure the volunteers are working where they are most needed, and to have the greatest possible number of people helping to make this unforgettable week a success.

Every little helps.

So precisely because the volunteers are an indispensable part of the 5th WMF, we need to clarify: who are the volunteers?, who can become one?, how does one apply?, what is the selection procedure?, what tasks will they be carrying out? …

In short, volunteers are part of the very essence of 5th WMF.
