A valencian begins in Ireland a promotion campaign for the WMF (15-11-05)

Valencia - A 40-year-old Marketing Consultant who has lived in Ireland for 22 years, Luis Lassala, has started an information campaign to promote the 5th World Meeting of the Families (WMF) convoked by the Pope for July 2006 in Valencia. The campaign will last for a month and is targeted to parishes, colleges, universities and youth associations for the Irish counties of Galway, Limerik, Cork, Dublín, and Belfast.

The campaign consist of explanatory sessions given to a hundred or so students coming from parishes, colleges, universities and youth associations in the Irish counties of Galway, Limerik, Cork, Dublín, and Belfast. These sessions include full information about the 5th WMF. Those who want to apply as volunteers are also offered a previous course in Ireland.

Lassala is also acting as promoter of the 5th WMF for families in Ireland, co-ordinating the promotion of the event with couples from all those parishes and associations. He is the son of the former President of Valencian regional Parliament and leads a youth association of students in Dublin. He has participated in different World Youth Days, including the last one in Cologne, and also other sports and educational events in the past years.
