The president of the Pontifical Council for the Family meets the committees of WMF (28-10-05)

Valencia - This morning the president of the Pontifical Council for the Families, the Colombian Cardinal monsignor Alfonso López Trujillo, expressed in his meeting with the committees of the 5th World Meeting of the Families, his "enormous satisfaction for the good level of achievement the preparation work for this event has reached."

In the meeting, which was held in the "Salón Gótico" at the Residence of the Archbishop, the representatives from each task area and committees in charge of the preparations of the 5th WMF have explained the developed and future actions, according to sources from the local news agency AVAN.

Within the participants of this morning's meeting was, as well the Archbishop of Valencia, monsignor Agustín García-Gasco and his three auxiliaries, monsignor Esteban Escudero, Enrique Benavent and Salvador Giménez, some representative of the Pontifical Council for the Family.

In addition, this afternoon monsignor López Trujillo presided in the Residence of the Archbishop a meeting with the patrons of the 5th World Meeting of Families, that integrates local and regional authorities and the Archbishops office.
