Appointment of the Director of Communication for the WMF (27-09-2005)

VALENCIA - The 48-year old journalist Javier Arnal Agustín, head of Radiotelevisión Valenciana (RTVV) in Castellón, has been appointed as Director of Communication of the 5th WMF, which is going to be celebrated in Valencia in July 2006.

The appointment of Arnal was made public today by the patronage of the 5th WMF Foundation.

Javier Arnal was born in 1957 in Teruel. He is a journalist and has got a degree in Law. He has been head of the Valencian Televisión in Castellón since 2000 and will share his tasks at RTVV and the WMF. Beforehand, he had been in charge of the valencian edition of the prestigious diary "ABC". He has published several books like "La cultura mediática en el nuevo milenio" (The culture of Media in the new millenium) and also teaches at the University Jaime I of Castellón (Master in Communication).
